I got an Offer Letter now what?

Congratulations, you went to the presentation, had a great interview, and now got an e-mail/snail-mail letter from College Recruiting saying that you have been accepted. After you jumped for joy, called your mom, hugged a perfect stranger, your wondering, now what? It's too early to start packing, and your roommate are telling you to be quiet. But you are still thinking, what next?

Well, your not alone. There are 30 or more students in this school who are in your similar situation. That is why, in a few days after you get your offer, you will be receiving an e-mail from your Campus Rep's informing you about an Offer Letter Meeting. This meeting was covered talked about in the presentation, but it rarely remembered since students to have other things on their mind during the presentations.

Now I am not going to give too much away, since this is a MANDATORY meeting for anyone who received an offer and would like to participate on the College Program. But here are some of the most popular questions answered.

I just received my acceptance letter to the Walt Disney World College Program for Spring or Fall Advantage, can I change it to Spring/Fall?

No. We are very flexible and we really try to help our candidates as much as we can. Unfortunately due to forecast, financial analysis and labor needs we do need to know about your choice at the interview and place you (whether it's Spring/Fall or Spring/Fall Advantage) in the program of your choice. We understand some things might happen and rarely switch a few students in the past, but students are pretty much tried with the program they indicated at interview time.

I just received my Acceptance letter to the Walt Disney World College Program and I was offered a position in Merchandise, Life guarding, etc. Can I change it to Hospitality or Operations, etc?

No. Students are offered a position that they specifically indicated to us from the Role Checklist ones at the moment of the interview. Placement and hiring is based on their working background, major, interest, hobbies, and many other factors. Remember, that in any role you have, it includes many transferable skills and your role is only one part of you college program experience.
